They are whiter, and the light is a little easier on the eyes.
The light is noticeably whiter than the stock - I only replaced the low beams as yet.
It was a PITA to install the bulbs (again, my opinion and experience...) -
best regards -

I never cursed so many times in a single afternoon as I did the day I changed out my bulbs. I have long, thin arms and hands and it still was a royal pain in the $%^% to squeeze into that little slot behind the headlights. A good mod though, good luck.
I have them. Probably the least expensive bang for the buck in a whiter and brighter lamp without going HID.
The install is tough for a first-timer. Easiest way is to remove the black plastic bezel from around the headlight. Lower the light a bit, and reach around behind to remove and reinstall. Good luck. :)

I did that and it was still rough for me. Maybe I have bigger hands than I thought. But isn't there a saying about having bigger hands? :D
I changed both low and high beams. The stock lights are sylvania and I am thoroughly satisifed with the Silver Stars, especially since they were on sale and with a rebate. I think it turned out $23 for a pair.
Surprised to see the remarks about installation. Only took me 5-10 minutes and I was drinking a beer. I did not follow the manual which has you disassemble the light. Instead I manually opened the lights, disconnected the harness for safety, then reached under the light (from the side) and through the opening twisted the connector to release the bulb socket and pulled to the side of the light. Removed old bulb, put new one in and carefully reached back under the light while watching through the head light to see the tip of the bulb go in to the hole. Then twisted the assembly to lock in place. Don't force anything and remember which way it twisted and the relative position of the assembly as you remove it. Low beams on outside of light and high beams are the inner bulbs. Have fun. George
