Seat heater switches are installed on the console beside the shifter.
Oh, that's what that extra button is on the console! I was wondering about that too. Many thanks. One last question, my seats get dry pretty quick. Do the seat warmers make the leather even drier?

Re: Mod Blue Interior - 2nd Time Around (Jacob)
:D Can you say"Beautiful"... I to am very interesed in the GPS install. In your other post I see the GPS is located on the bottom of the consol, but your new pics show it in the middle between the enviro controls and the radio. Great job on both.
looks great...wonder if a Navy Blue Convertible would look  if you could get someone to dye the leather similar to the navy blue and do the same as this....hmmmmm
Any kind of a write up on how you installed the Garmin in the dash. I would like to do the same MOD.
This mod is not too difficult as it turns out. The HVAC unit only has a flat wiring harness attached to it. You remove the ash tray, bend back the support brackets inside, dremel out and file flat the console opening to accept the HVAC and drill new mounting holes.
A lot more time is spent on fabricating a plastic flush mounting bracket for the Garmin, so that it fits precisely and is the same distance out as the HVAC controls and the radio. I made a cardboard template for the opening, used plexiglass and painted it black before installing. I have written Garmin suggesting they could sell a lot more units to Corvette owners if they made a flush mounting kit.
