[Z06] Used ZO6 prices?

Used ZO6 prices?
I am new to the board and am looking for a ZO6. Don't the prices for most of the used 02-03 cars seem high. If you can purchase a new 04 for $46000, why would you give over $39000 for a 03 or $35000 for a 02? Just a question

:iagree: I was in the market a few months ago. It just seemed silly to me to buy used when I could spend just a few grand more and buy an 04 brand new and break it in right myself. Good luck, and give us a post once you take the plunge.

Prices are based on wholesale and what the market will bear. Simple!!
Some people won't buy new because of the depreciation. For some the extra $5-6-7 K is a deal breaker.
If you are patient, you don't have to pay those used prices.

It is really a transaction tax.
I retired, bought a company car at a reasonably good price. WI DMV challenged me on the price. I had to gather additional documents from the leasing company to satisfy the state and prove my selling price.
Everyone is now adding fees. They learned these lessosn from the states.
