Someone mentioned about changing the headers on a Z06 to enhance performance. Is this an "engine" modification and what exactly does it do for performance enhancement? Would you expect a significant increase in power?
Also, what would something like this cost? Just wondering. Thanks!
Yes, this is a bolt-on engine modification.
It will increase hp and tq levels.
significant increase in power can only be defined by you but, I would say that ~25 hp is significant in my book.
Price= ~$1000- 2000 depending on brand, build material etc.
Personally, I would suggest after doing this modification you have the car dyno tuned to recalibrate the air-fuel mixtures to get the most power out of this mod.

:iagree: Corvette Fever did an article on the Bassani (sp?) total exhaust package. Pretty good gains, but rather expensive too.
