quality control on the Z
I went to see my friends 01Z,thus last weekend. He ordered this car and because of his health he doesnt drive much. 1,200 miles like brand new. Anyway I see where the front bumper cover dors not line up with the drivers side headlight. The gap is closer on one side, also the drivers door upper edge next to the front windshield curves in about a quarter of an inch closer than the pass. side. Are these typical on Z's. Thx.

You think panels lining up are bad, take a look at the black panels in the rear lid or under the hood and wheel well. Mine look rough and scratched in some areas. I would think for $50k they would be smooth and polished.

very easy to adjust. just take it to a body shop that works on a lot of vettes.
all the body panels and facias have adjustments.
the new corvette is cheaper than my american made SUV so the adjustments were no big deal.
