Update your Corvette with our latest and most innovative forced air induction system. The Hurricane is designed to bring the cool outside air in through its custom designed large intake scoops. These scoops have been designed to nearly eliminate the possibility of ingesting water yet allowing super airflow. Constructed primarily of carbon fiber, each Hurricane is supplied with a lifetime filter and filter recharge kit. Beyond a doubt the Hurricane is "State Of The Art", when it comes to the best all around forced air intake system available today. Adds up to 35HP. Available in Carbon Fiber (pictured)for $399.00 or black finish for $239.00. price includes "Ground Shipping"

 save your money and get a vortex. It's the exact same concept. I've driven in the hardest rains and even a flooded road (stupid and had to back up for 1/4 mile as the water got too deep). As long as you don't sumberge the front end you'll be fine, if you do that then you're screwed even while stock.
Re: HURRICANE INDUCTION SYSTEM OR????????? (VETMARC)
I just installed the Hurricane filter - only, as I don't want to even take a small chance of sucking in water. A friend of mine put on a similar filter on his '01 and got 17HP at the rear. The dyno number were very impressive.
So far I am very happy with the Hurrican except for the fact that it has no place to plug in that black hose. I'm fixing this and will take a PIC when completed.
