Today I test drove a 2001 Z06 for the first time. It was much quicker than I thought it would be. I am hooked big time. It was quite an experience. If driving a Zo6 won't put a big smile on your face I do not think anything with four wheels will Two questions.
Question One: Is $31,500 a fair price for a 2001 Z06 with 20,000 miles? It has two pea sized stone chips on the front. It has not been pampered but looks pretty good inside and out. Tires are about gone. I ran great and reved quickly to 5500 rpm in the first three gears.
Second question: The gears seemed to have a strange sound until it warmed up. Is that normal?

I drive my car hard, but look after it meticuously. :yesnod: Some people don't do squat to their cars and they can be rough, these forum members are the exception. :seeya
