Been looking around for a new 04, dealer I bought my 01 from said he would give me $4000 off MSRP. Is this good??? Will be taking the 0% for 60 months instead of the $2000 rebate.
Be aware that a large number of company's are defined by GM as "major vendor's" and if you work for a company listed by GM under their vendor employee program, one can get a discount that's not far off what employees can get - plus any current prmotional discounts (except GM card points are no longer useable under the vendor discount). Only problem typically is finding a dealer that will honor the vendor employee program.

Do your homework on this site ( C5 for sale) and I think you'll see that $4,000 is not enough. Les Stanford is offering $500.00 UNDER invoice and you can keep the $2000.00 rebate or 0% if I'm not mistaken. Also Monica is offering super deals as is Ken Fitchner. All forum supporters and we need to support them as well. :flag
I just spoke with Frank Parra Chevrolet, Irving TX tonight and the current deal going as of today is: 0% for up to 60 months and $5K off MSRP. If you go your own financing route expect $7k off MSRP.
FYI, I just purchased a 2004 Z06 with all options for invoice 44,791.88 their holdback is 1562.10 ( I did'nt get that) but they gave me two coupons 500.00 ea. making it 43,791.88 and financed it through gmac for 1.9% for 6 Yrs. MSRP on this car is 52070.00
You did better then me, bought mine at coconut creek & paid $47370, MSRP $52870. Also got the GMAC 0% for 5 years. They had me sign the 2 coupons after arriving at that price also & said that was included in the $5500 of MSRP. But they did give me a better deal on my trade $44000 where the best anyone offered was $42300. I thought I read the invoice on them is $47148. How did you get such a great deal.
Edmunds has invoice at $46,333 when the msrp on Z06 vette is $52,845. I have called just about every dealer in south FL and none of them want to take much off any Corvettes right now, guess they are holding out.
I believe I added the $800 destination fee on the invoice I wrote, so the real invoiced would be the one you wrote. The other deal wrote on here for about +/- $9000 seems too good. Thought I did good.
I have posted in the for sale section tha I would beat any forum offer by as much as $500. I have been selling Z06s at $1,000 under invoice plus your choice of 2k rebate or 0%. We're selling out fast! Here's what I have as of 1-19-04.
