Engine Shut Down! What the heck?
I was driving tonight. I started driving and shifted from first to second, then second to third, and the next thing I know the car shuts off. Engine and everything! I pulled over and restarted the car and it seems to run okay now. What the heck?

Yeah I looked at the DIC and saw nothing.
As for the cable i think it is fine.
I wonder if I might have been sloppy with my shifting. I dunno.
Just test drove it again and it drove fine. Hmmmm.

Mine did it a total of three times within a year, as if the computer was reseting, then the code read something like wait 10 seconds then restart.
vette started fine after that, dealer couldn't find anything wrong, still very weird. :flag

I have not had any more hangups since this one and only incident.
It was really weird and caught me by surprise.
