Default pulled the trigger...finally 04 my

just got in about 15 min. ago, got on the site and it seems Blackvette is having a tuff time. Well, you heard it before and you'll hear it now, finally bought a new 04 Zo6, My with chromies!! Sorry Blackvette, gotta share the joy :yesnod:
Got it thursday and this morning West Coast Corvettes on Melrose in Placentia did the following: Cags defeat, B&M shifter, Lloyds mats, Wolf car cover, Zo6 chrome plate between the exhaust, shortie antenna (black) and the partition. Thanks Neil for your help and getting me in at the last minute!
Talked to several guys there who have seen my posts here and that was  I think my credit card went into melt down
For those who are thinking about a new one and are wondering about prices, I don't mind sharing what I paid $45,500.00 + tax + lic. made the offer over the phone, they accepted it and my wife and I drove down to get it. Ostrom Chevrolet in Montebello.
Paid $800.00 exchange for the chromies. They were on a black Vette on the floor and they swapped them out. Talk to Ted in fleet sales If anyone in the area is thinking about a new one. Great Guy and super easy to work with.
The car is awesome and I don't care about depeciation.
Now the best part...you won't have to read my sometimes dumb posts written out of boredom
:hurray:
Thanks to all who answered my posts and helped with the questions :flag
To the guys I met at West Coast Corvettes, it was a ball talking with you :D
And to Don, you know who you are, thanks for helping me spend all that money :lolg: :lolg: E-mail me
Blackvette, was this redundant enough  :leaving:

Thanks! The pics might be awhile as I'm a computer dummy and I need to get a digital camera. Will have some soon.

Congrats on the new Vette. Was that price including the $2000 rebate or did you go for the 0% financing?

:lolg: :lolg: I stopped in at WCC to pick-up my partition and $1000.00 later walked out. And this was for look good stuff
My performance mod list is intake, thermostat, PVC, tune/edit. Both Corvette Mike and WCC said no performance gains with exhaust, just sound. Too much money for just sound for me. I may go for a mild street cam upgrade ;) I want to see how she breaks in before I spend money on stuff I don't need. I'm not going to race (track) or auto cross. It will be used alot for highway trips, thinking about the Koolmat stuff.

Thanks and

Hey Rix, speaking of turning the key; when I turn the car off, she hesitates a sec before finally turning off. Is this norm for a new car???

Thanks

That's fantastic. I know how long you have been waiting to pull the trigger. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Enjoy the ride. Just curious, what took you so long, was it the money? Or no! My wife won't let me?

Congrats and nice work on your purchase.

Hey Stan. Glad to see made it home. I thought you and your wife might have to spend another night while WCC installed more goodies on your new toy. I see that after I left you must have gone back inside to see Neil. For the rest of you, I met Stan and his wife at WCC yesterday. Great people. His wife was 100% behind him on their purchase of the o4. Stan didn't even make it home from picking up his car before mod fever hit him. :lolg: See what happens when you meet the folks at this forum. Enjoy the toy and just keep :D .
