Nice one Andy Pilgrim, winner of the Daytona 24 hour.....and a sharp stick in the eye of GM Motorsports for firing him, and thus enabling him to be available to drive the winning car, again.
I'm new to this type of racing but did enjoy watching some of it this weekend. I just wish they ran it from 9PM until 6AM, much easier for me to stay up and watch several hours than watching it during the day with the wife around. Every ten minutes it was "Honey do this"... ugh.
So tell me, does the Corvette C5-R race in one of those leagues (DP, GT, SGS)? I'm just wondering and would like to get more info on this type of racing and I can't find a web site with info for newbs.
Those were Corvette engines in the DP series though, weren't they?
Thanks for the info, finally found a racing schedule...

The Pratt and Miller GM factory team is racing at Sebring in MArch . The ROlex 24 hours at Daytona changed its format and now have DP (daytona prototypes) , GT3 and SGS racing classes. It loooks like it will secceed as the number of spectators was up. I sure miss the vettes at Daytona. You guys remmebr when they took it all. Big day for GM!
