Default Front Turn Signals

Just have my 04 Z06 a little over 2 weeks & today on a right turn I got the fast flash on right signal, checked around the car & found the right front bulb is put. Will call the dealer tomorrow but looked in the manual about changing the bulb & nothing in it about it. Does say for all bulb changing not listed see the dealer. Is it a big deal changing the front turn signal light.

Not a big deal, but you will scrape your arm up. Just turn on your headlights, then turn off the car, when you do this the headlights will stay in the up position then you can get to the signal light, ooh ya when you turn the ignition switch off you can also turn the lights to the 1 position and they will stay up. Also, I bought some repair manuels from. http://www.fichtnerchevrolet.com for miscellaneous repairs that I can do. :flag

It is easy to change out these bulbs. It is a 3157 amber bulb not white...very important. For us big guys with larger forearms. It is a pain in the butt, but it can be done. Since it only takes five minutes you won't drain the battery so you can do it with the car off. First turn on the headlights, then one position back so only the headlights are up but not on. Then take a phillips head screwdriver and take off the three screws on the black plastic piece that surrounds the headlight. Put that to the side. Next take a 13 mm wrench and take off the hood stopper that is close to the front. Now you have enough room to reach in and turn and take off to change the bulb. Try it out. Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. Was taking it to the dealer today after sitting overnight in nthe garage after the problem happened. On the way to the dealer it started working perfectly. Spoke with the dealer & they feel it is probably not the bulb since it started working again & is a wire or connection. They said I am better waiting till it happens again so they can isolate the problem & fix it.
