2001 Z06 Problems?
I have heard there are several issues with 01s, oil consumption being one of them. Im in the market for an 01 and just want to know if there are major problems to avoid.

Get the VIN# and have a local service writter at the chevy garage check if the car has had the re-ring done or any tranny work.
check tranny- see if hard to get into reverse. Reverse synchros

I've had a few problems w/ my '01, but only one was specific to the year model (oil consumption). The rest were "normal" c5 issues and all have been fixed under warranty. My car dynoed at 345 rwhp pre re-ring and with a vortex and stingers and no tuning. Now with Kooks LT's and Borla straight pipes (going on this weekend) it'll be interesting to see what I get next weekend.
