I think you will see that the majority of people who lowered their Z06's a little, have nothing but smiles on their faces. Just get used to the idea of scrapping everything out there. I hate San Diego streets.....dips every 100 yards it seems.
Yeah but remember you are just scraping a $30 piece of plastic that is made to be easily and cheaply replaced.
If you are going to lower the Z you will need to cut the front bushings to get anything noticable. I have lowered both FE4's and Z51s without cutting and it makes very little difference just turning the stock bolts in the front. I cut off about 1/3 of the bushing to get mine where I wanted it...about 1". I also used longer bolts in the back. Make sure you get an alignment after a few hundred miles.
