Wanting to put a set of brakes front and rear on my ZO6 with 18inch wheels. I will do some track events but mostly street. My wheels will not accept the Brembo's so I need some advice.
Front is Hawk part No. HB247.575
Rear is Hawk part No. HB248.650
The part number specifies the pad size... so it is the same number regardless of which Hawk you get ... you order by specifying pad type and size ... ie> HPS HB247.575 or Blue HB247.575 ....
For the track I switch to the Hawk Blue pads, though some folks run the Hawk HT-14 if they are actually racing the car.
I'd leave the stock rotors on for now, and see how you like the pads. The more aggressive the pads (Blue are more aggressive than the HPS) the more they will eat the rotors. I've tried slotted rotors, but I'm going back to the stock rotors as I really haven't seen much difference in brake performance (initial bite, fade, etc.) between the two rotor types. The new stock rotors are sitting in the garage and are going on this weekend. Replacing rotors gets expensive when you are using them at track events where they wear fairly quickly.
If you are looking at rotors as a "dress up" item, and don't mind the added expense, the Powerslot rotors IMHO are very good, and are well less than some "expensive" brake systems (Alcon, Brembo, etc.)
I think you'll find the Hawk HPS pads are an excellent choice for both street and some track use. ALWAYS check your pads before going to the track. Some tracks can really consume brake pads. If they are anywhere near 50 percent or less remaining on them, change them before you go to the track or you may well damage a rotor or two. Preferably, put fresh pads on for the track.
For light track use, factory or Powerslot rotors would be a great idea. Get some decent pads - perhaps even a nice set for track only like Panther Plus or XP8 or XP9 if you are more advanced. Stainless lines are good, but not required (although I'm happy to sell you a set, ). Fluid like ATE Super Blue or Typ 200 or Motul 600 is a MUST for better performance.
If you want low dust, Raybestos Quiet Stop (same as GM pads) are incredible - I use them on the show car seen in my signature when the "bling bling" chrome 19" and 20" Imola wheels are on there and they never get dirty!
Let us know if we can help with any more braking advice. The factory brakes are excellent, but get very hot with heavy use.
The Raybestos ceramics, which we have in stock at all times, dust WAY less (almost nothing) than the stock pads and are not squeaky at all. Just FYI

 I better order some stuff from you then....I got some miles to put onto my stock pads, but I'll hit you up when I decide to change. My transactions with PFYC have been flawless.
