No such car!
Unless you get it chopped up at a convertible shop!

Re: convertable z06 (flight405)
I' ve seen a few that were converted by Caravaggio and they look great! Of course they won't handle as well, but if you were a serious tracker you'd want a roof over your head anyway.

Re: convertable z06 (flight405)
I have a 2002 Z06 converted into a convertable....There is no chopping involved.....The factory roof is a bolt on/urethane part.....The handling is not affected at all...stays the same. The replacement parts are all OEM, unless you change thelid with an aftermarket. If you have otherquestions e-mail me @ Garza-Garza@juno.com. I have also converted another 2002 Z06 for a customer of mine.

No leaks?
Can you provide a picture of your convertible Z06?
That would be great!

Of course there's no leaks. All the cars are based on the same chassis, but the Z06 and the coupe have the "roll" hoop on the "b" billar. All they do is unbolt the hardtop roof and bolt in all the vert parts. There's even someone on here (can't remember the screename) who took a 50th AE vert and made into a real hardtop.

Re: convertable z06 (Cobra4B)
That is good to hear that there are no leaks.
My last convertible (the cobra) did leak.
I am sure that this bolt on roof is of better quality!

My '97 Cobra vert never leaked for the five years I owned it :yesnod: My parents '99 vette vert only leaked once when I took it to a high pressure car wash and it was shot from the side.
