I' ve seen a few that were converted by Caravaggio and they look great! Of course they won't handle as well, but if you were a serious tracker you'd want a roof over your head anyway.

I have a 2002 Z06 converted into a convertable....There is no chopping involved.....The factory roof is a bolt on/urethane part.....The handling is not affected at all...stays the same. The replacement parts are all OEM, unless you change thelid with an aftermarket. If you have otherquestions e-mail me @ Garza-Garza@juno.com. My '97 Cobra vert never leaked for the five years I owned it :yesnod: My parents '99 vette vert only leaked once when I took it to a high pressure car wash and it was shot from the side.

There's even someone on here (can't remember the screename) who took a 50th AE vert and made into a real hardtop.
