I was thinking about opening up my vette and dig for my build sheet. You are like me, very cautious..........
I wouldn't touch those emblems until you get someone to confirm that they can EASILY be taken off. If not, seek a professional, and I don't mean a psychiatrist!
Whan I did mine, I used my wife's hair dryer. Got the OE emblem good and hot and peeled it right off. It left some residue behind from the adhesive, but I just used some bug and tar remover to take it right off. Stuck on the new emblem and waxed around it. Good as new.

Thanks Tom :seeya
Does anybody else have some input on this?

Hehe!! Actually, I think a blow dryer or heat gun and fishing line or dental floss work pretty good.
I don't use a 10 lb. sledge on the Harley, but I do carry large ball bearings for cages (cars) that get a little too close and refuse to read sign language, does a real number on windshields.

I'll have to rember to pick me up some
and to think of all the loose change I've been
throwing away all these years at the the cages.
