Is there a stock class in which the Z06, Porsche GT3, Ferrari 360 and the Viper compete? If so, who rules. I'm not interested in modified class info, just the cars in their relatively stock condition.
I would suggest going to the SCCA (Sportscar Club of America) website and look at the actual classes and regulations. From memory its either http://www.scca.com or http://www.scca.org
The SCCA T1 class is about as close as it gets, but the cars aren't truely stock. Minor modifications are allowed. For example, the Z06 can run the GM Performance Parts T1 suspension kit and 17x10 front and 17x11 rears with 315/35-17 tires all around. Not exactly stock, but pretty close.
The 360 doesn't have the torque to compete and most are gone. The Viper is very competitive and is probably the car to beat on tracks with long straights. The GT-3 wasn't classified until this year, so no data... yet.
Check out this link to the SCCA Valvoline Runoffs, the end of year SCCA Championship race. Look for the T1 class results for each year and you can get a comparison.
In short, the Z06 driven by an excellent driver has won three years in a row.
