Having similar problem with my '01 vert since I have put headers on and reduced front weight by 30 lbs. I have driven up to 150 in desert roads of central Nevada and car stuck to road even better after I reached 120. However, now with headers and net loss of 30lbs when I reach 90 front end starts to lighten and starts to float about 100. Thinking about lowering front 3/4 inch and rear 1/4 inch. Any ideas?

Mine has the same feeling at full throttle launch, feeels like the car can fly!!!! Feels so good, although keeping up with a Turbo Porche up to 145mph, the butt end felt loose. Shut it down. :smiliedrool:

Good one about raising the rear...could help.
Of course I am assuming the shocks, alignment and tires are all correct.

Your front spoliers are still on?

Personally, I have not noticed this problem. I would guess shocks are bad or base suspension limitation. Look for an shcok oil leak.

Lastly, and I am only commenting here, at high speeds perhaps the C5 is trapping air under the hood ala the C2. A vented hood may be an option.
