I am looking to add an aftermarket rear and front spoiler to my z06. There is one guy here in Atlanta that has the best looking one on the rear that I have seen, but it cost some major cabbage to get!! :cry He is looking at a less expensive option for the future but I am kinda impatient....
Question is, can some of you out there that have experience with a front and rear spoiler, post some pics/links to where these can be purchased? I would really appreciate the help!! I have seen the Caravaggio and would like to see all options prior to making a decision.
Re: Question on Rear and Front Spoiler (Patriot24)
I can only give you my opinion as I just went through the same choice situation...I finally bought a C5R replica rear spoiler from Eckler's here in Florida..I am sure other vendors carry them also..they are low profile but they are functional as they bolt into the rear frame of the car...Personally, I like the low profile look..I haven't installed it yet as it just arrived at the body shop for painting.....You can see it on Eckler's web site ecklers.com I am not promoting Ecklers, just letting you know where I bought mine...... I will post some photos when its installed next week.....
Re: Question on Rear and Front Spoiler (Clubowner)
Why does bolting into the frame make a spoiler functional? Any spoiler that isn't several inches above the rear deck isn't doing anything. If they did you would see a lot of C5 race cars using them.

Re: Question on Rear and Front Spoiler (Bill Dearborn)
Good question Bill...first, its more then several inches off the deck, more like 8-10 inches...by low profile, I mean its not one of those metal things you see 3 ft in the air, like on the C5R race cars...after all, I'm driving a street car and want to at least keep the dignity of the stock look...Personally I think Z's with those huge tall spoilers look ridiculus on the street.....at a track ok, but as a daily driver, they look out of place....second, I want my car to have a good resale value and I dont think, souped up exterior Z's will bring top dollar and finally bolted into the frame increases the downdraft to the entire rear of the car whereas spoilers that are just "attached" aren't as effective, but more for show....I'm just a novice, perhaps someone with more knowledge then me can explain it better...
This is the setup I may be going with. I really like the looks of the ACI spoiler and several guys around here have them. Now that I have seen the Caravaggio on the TR, I think I like that also. I am checking your site to see the before and after. Looks good RPO. Thanks for the direction....
Any other comments?
I am going to check out Ecklers and see what their wing looks like. I definitely want it to be low profile.......
