Default PIAA Adjustment questions

I just installed my PIAA's this morning with the new brackets from Tuan at Litewarehouse.com.
It seems that the lights, once fully installed and tightened, sit a little below the bottom lip of the screen duct by about 1/2 inch. I rotated the plastic bracket that is on the light 90 degrees and mounted it to the C5 brackets so that the light can only swivel up and down. Pointing the lights up alittle would help aim the light above the lip of the duct, but would cause the light to be pointed upward. I assume I would not want this. So I'm thinking that I need to twist the Plastic base on the bracket about 30 degrees or so, so as to raise the light higher and still have the plastic bracket extended 90 degrees. Does this sound right. Has anyone else had to adjust them in this fashion or am I alone here. Has anyone else noticed the light being to low when mounted fully verticle? One more thing, I know it is disgraced by some, but I used the quick clip to splice in the switch wire. It seems to work fine and I could only get the fuse block up about 1.5 inches and just did not have room to try and solder it. TIA for your comments.

I don't have the brackets from Truan Le. But, I had to Lower mine in order for the PIAA's to line up behind my Vararam.
In your case it might be easier to just drill a new hole in the bracket to raise the lights up vs trying to swivel the light on the bracket.

I made my own brackets, which are a hybrid of the Truan Le. I also cut the Vararam fog light openings a little to allow the light to sit without touching the plastic.

I drilled a slot in the bracket so I could adjust it up and down.

Good Luck
