Jacking It Up........
I've read and seen many different methods of doing the oil change on the Z. I'm thinking that since I have a driveway that's on a slight incline......I'd like to jack up the front of the car, change the filter and remove the drain plug, then let the car down to drain the oil.
My question is: where do I position the jack under the front of the car? Can someone give me detailed instructions on exactly where to put the jack so I don't mess anything up? Or, maybe a pic?

Ram,
As you know, the rear needs to be higher than the front so why jack up the front? I see this question frequently.
Jack up the rear on a level surface at the crossmember. Then put jackstands there. Raise the left side a little near the front of the door (you will see an opening there for the jack). Put a jackstand or block of wood there. Slide under and do your work.
It is really not hard.
