About 2-3 months after getting my Z06 the DIC started showing a "Low Oil Level" message. If you hit the reset button, it would come back on every ten minutes. It wasn't too bad since I only drove about 15 miles to work each day so I put it off. I asked around on the Forum back in the summer but apparently I am the only person here to have this problem. I'm a procrastinator so I kept puting it off, but finally took it to a shop that I had gotten some good reviews on. They replaced the oil level sensor under warrenty and changed the oil with my supplies in about 1.5 hours. I can't believe it was that easy. I was expecting computer diagnostics, excuses, days without the Vette, etc... If I had known it was so simple I would have done it loooong ago. Oh well, if anyone else has this problem, don't wait like I did. It's a quick and easy fix.

We need more info to help you.
Were you adding oil?
If it is low (about a quart) the message goes off. If you add oil to correct the situation, it seems you have to have it shut down for a while with the oil added for the message to go away.
Re: Finally got "Low Oil Level" problem fixed. (fdupny)
The only problem was a faulty oil level sensor. I figured this was the problem since the oil level was always fine. Never have to add oil and had been through 3 oil changes. Anyway, all is well now.

Mine comes on if I leave the car parked on a downhill slope for a couple hours.
Same here, mine was parked in a garage over night at a slant and it gave me the reading when I started it the next day - I gave it a check and all was fine - just the slope
