C6 Z06...will it be built ???
Just got this email from the General.....
"A new LS2 6.0-liter all-aluminum V8 is the standard engine in the 2005 Corvette. The largest, most powerful standard engine ever offered in Corvette, the LS2 promises an estimated peak output of 400 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque.
A Tremec six-speed manual gearbox is available with two sets of ratios, one with more aggressive acceleration characteristics reserved for Corvette's Z51 Performance Package that emulates the performance of the C5's popular Z06 model."

I don't really understand your question. Of course there will be a new Z06 in 2006. This does not contradict that but simply says that the 2005 model has approximately the same power as the 2002-4 Z06. :rolleyes:
