Default Longest Trip Followup Question

Wow, Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response to my question regarding
your longest trip in your Z06. I have a pressing question however. As a new owner i must say i am a little paranoid undertaking a long trip due to the lack of a spare tire. In all honesty, has this concern entered your mind before your extended drives ? Has anyone encountered any serious problems? I pondered this question before my purchase, but didnt want to "settle" for the Coupe. I appreciate you honesty. ;)

Do you not cross the street in fears of been hit by a car? You can'y worry about things like that. If it happens it happens, odds are it won't. You can always use your tire repair/inflator kit, and then get to a local tire repair place to fix it properly.

I agree with Racer44. Anything can happen at any moment in time. Take it. You'll love it and trust me when I say you won't regret it.

The thought did cross my mind. I also bought a tire plug kit to take with me, in case I didn't want to mess up the inside of my wheel with the fix a flat stuff in the kit. Haven't had to use either yet! Knock on wood. :smash:

Hi Dawn -

I have a plug kit and the inflator - plus a spare inflator (too **** to open the fatory one...).

No problems so far - and I have a cell phone in case all the rest goes wrong.

best regards -

Hi Dawn
No worries! Just go :) and as suggested before, bring a phone just in case. So far my longest trip was 800 miles and I believe i only thought about the lack of a spare once. The fun you will have driving your car will far outweigh any concerns.
