Why doesn't HURST........

Make a friggin plain round white shift **** for their Corvette SHIFTER???????????? Call to Mr. Gasket proved fruitless..."Sorry sir, Hurst does not make a shift **** for the Corvette......."

MOMO and Delrin :U , (which looks like a Male ***** prosthesis, and a SHORT one at that!), and a few others do.....................

I just want a white **** with the 6 speed pattern etched into it! F---k, whats a guy supossed to do? :rant:

Buy a Hurst ball and rethread it for the Corvette shifter.

I DO have a white Hurst ball. Its just what I want. It comes with a 16mm x 1.5 thread insert, inbeded in the ball. I thought about inserts........just do not want to mess up the threads on the shifter.

Mid America has a polished aluminum one with a shift pattern. Your could sand it up and paint it white?

I have one brand new in the package. It is a white hurst shift **** with the six speed pattern on top and Hurst logo on the side. Got it for around $35.00.

I think i got it off E-Bay. I had read they had one but no one carried it. Got the part number from someone on the forum, went back up to one of the local hust dealers and told them this is what I wanted to have ordered. They looked up the number and it said it was on back order. The part number is 163 0056.

I have a Hurst T handle in my car. I just had it rethreaded to fit the Corvette shifter and it works fine.
