Every once and a while you'll see it for $325. Call Exit 28. I got mine there about two months ago and I'm pretty sure they were offering it for $325 to all forum members along with free shipping. Really nice guys there too! Good luck.

Hey Steve, haven't been posting much lately - working my tail off.
As for the original question, RG rocks, give him a call - and make sure you get the race filter AND the every-day filter.

Les, Welcome back!! Try not to work so much. Hey, I got the Vararam a couple months ago. Still sitting in my garage because I've been working my tail off too!! :mad Anyway, this is the first time that I've heard about the "race" filter. What is that? If I don't go to the track, should I be getting that anyway? Thanks.
Just started a new job up in the DC area, commuting and travel takes much of my time, but I do look in here from time to time.
Patrick makes two filters for the Vararam. The "race" unit should be track only, very thin, doesn't trap small dirt which can be a bad thing if used for extended periods. He has another unit that some call a K&N (but I don't believe it is) which is much thicker and recommended for street use. Personally I run the thick unit on the street and road racing, and use the thin one for drag racing only.
Talk to RG, or better yet Patrick at Vararam - heck of a nice guy - tell him I said hello.
What is it about having to work to much. I can't break away from it also. Damn buildings are taking up all my Vette time. Good to hear from ya Les.
"Peace"
