I was at a traffic light yesterday and a guy in Z06 pulled up next to me. I was in my red Z and waived and said my greetings. This man looked at me like I was the lowest form of life. Actually I will take it one step further...He looked at me as if I was driving a Geo Metro. So I turn away and he peels out as soon as the light turns green, only to be followed by his wife who is in a craptang cobra. Maybe the guy is pissed that his wife bought a Ford?? Who knows. Oh well, not too bothered by it. Mine was better anyway hehe
Not all who own Corvettes know or care about the Corvette etiquette. I've gotten the "who the $%@# is that waving at me" look before also.
:iagree: Plenty of clueless Vette owners out there. Either that or lots of them are having bad days on the day I happen to see them. Most, sad to say, seem to be driving C5's.
No matter, their loss, not mine. As always, I say...
Keep :seeya
That guy sounds like a real jerk. :nono:
I have had quite a few Corvette owners not wave back to me as well.
I just remind myself that not every Corvette driver out there knows about "the wave". (I only found out about it when I started visiting this forum.) Also, there are Corvette owners and there are Corvette people. :yesnod:
Still, I wave and don't let it get to me if they don't wave back. :seeya

Seems like I get just as many waves from Corvette owners as other peeps cars... well, unless it's like a Mistubishi 3000GT or something, then I just get dirty looks. haha
Have had everything from Vipers, Porsche's, and Ferrari's to Pick-up trucks and mini-vans wave at me... but it's a smaller "college" town so that may have something to do with it. Seems like everyone really loves this car (except for county cops) and the waves are a nice perk.
I was walking into Target on Monday night after work. I had to park pretty far out but as I left the car a woman and her young son were walking to their car. When I beeped the alarm he looked over and I heard him say "Man, that's a cool car!". Cracked me up, cause it was just like that Chevy SSR commercial where the kids say a bad word and get soap in their mouth. Pretty cool, and I told him "yes, it is... and someday YOU will have a Corvette too!". His Mom just smiled at me...
Good feelings from an AWESOME car... made me forget all about the stupid "tint" ticket I got.
Bad hair day!!!
I have been snuffed by C-4s and C-5s and it seems like C-3s are always very nice. Be happy I gues and know it is his loss not yours. :iagree:

They both had the same licence plate so I assumed as much, plus they went in the same direction after the light and pulled into a restaraunt. Not to use their real plates...ABC 1 and ABC 2
