Tubis?
Has anyone tried or heard what a tubi exhaust sounds like on a c5? If the improvement they make is anything comperable to what they do for ferraris, they should be awesome.
If not, I suspect I'll be the guinea pig.

my friend had them on his c5 but he had LPE heads and cam. it had a uniuqe sound but i love my borla stinger. and i didnt like the tips as much as my cannons i have now.. :troll

Tubi's system for the C5 never really caught on. There were constant manufacturing delays and little marketing $ spent. Also, their cost was pretty high compared to other systems.

Heard them in person and I was not pleased at all, I could barely tell his Vette had even started, the tips are also kinda weird looking. It is very similar to the stock set up in sound. :cheers:

Hi Guys...I bought my tubi's at 21st century...they were one of the first mods i got on my zo6...let me tell you they are an xcellent exhaust both in quality of make and quality of sound....they arnt for the guy that likes really loud or a motorboat sound... after my header install and cam/head pkg they even sound better....I cant tell you how many times folks at stoplights have told me what a sweeet sounding car I have...I consider the tubi mod prolly one of the best that ive done. They have gotten louder as time has gone by...Andy sez that those 173 mph runs at the Texas Shootout blew the packings out! :lol: Wash
