Be careful clay barring around the stripes, and read the back of the container of wax to be sure it can be put on vinyl. Another thing is the center wheel caps scratch very easily, so try not to wipe them too much. Don't think about polishing the wheels...they have clear coat over them.
Man, listen to me I sound like my mother.
The most important thing is to enjoy it! Be prepared to get attention.

What are the issues with the clay around the stripes? I haven't had a chance to wash/clay it yet, but I have my supplies handy.
I love the looks/performance - it took this car to get me to move on from the zr1.
As for getting looks, some little girl (10ish) made her dad get in the other lane and slow down so she could look more at the car :) - I got a big smile as I waved and drove by.
Is anyone gonna have a tutorial on taking care of the 04 Z16? Which vinyl safe polish to use, how to keep the clearcoated wheels from peeling. Does the hood require special care to prevent damage, hand wash and wax only?
Love your car! Still waiting for mine to get built next week. :chevy
