Need Help with Trap Install
I tried downloading the video from Halltech's website but it comes up as an 'error', file does not begin with %PDF. My problem is, what do I do with the shroud? Do I have to cut a slot out to slide the lower section down into the nose of the car? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Slide the lower piece into the filter. Make sure not to push them togather to far. It should not be installed into the filter beyond the rubber collar depth. Make a mark on it the seperate the two. Remove the bolts on the sheet metal under the car then slide the lower section up to connect the two bridges. Then you install the filter. Hope this helps.

No, you don't cut the shroud. Unfasten the lower edge to allow yourself to get the filter and your hands inside the fascia cavity, then working from the outside in, push on and screw the shroud back to the fascia. I did not install the center screw as I was concerned the screw's point might penetrate the filter; I have not detected any adverse problem as a result of leaving out that screw. Good luck - everything is a tight fit
