Fixed Roof Question
Working on an '04 ZO6. I'm looking to make more head room for my helmet. Does anyone know if I can remove the cross brace circled in red? It seems the metal brace should be enough. Opinions please. Thank you in advance.

When I changed my headliner from the 04 version to the 02 version, I looked around to see if there were any other changes I could do. I don't think there is anything that can be modified without affecting the structure.
Are you putting in the 02 headliner? If you notice, the webbing and shape of the 04 headliner eats up space... I installed the 02 version and now have enough headroom.

Thank you Mike. Yes, I'm planning to install a '02 head liner. But also could have a custom head liner made if that brace isn't needed. Just throwing out idea's, maybe someone's already tried this?
