thanks for everyones input on my last post about PRT exhaust.. great exhaust tone-i like it, its a blast at WOT in 1st /2nd..maybe 5-7hp gain,feels a little more free flowin' and 6th is pretty quiet /i have a partition..nice and throaty at idle and low rpm's, and fairly quiet at crusing speeds-i have the round or tiger shark tips like the corsa's..its a real

I had PRT's on my coupe and absolutely loved them. There are so many good exhaust systems on the market today for the C5 compared to when I first bought a C5 back in '99.

It's funny, I installed Corsa Indy's on my 99 bacl in 2001 and loved them. I never felt I needed to consider anything else. Then I bought a used 03 Z that came with the PRT's with 4.5 inch quad tips. At first I wasn't so sure I like the sound, but now after a month and 1000 miles I love them as much as the Indy's.
The tips and high polished mufflers look wicked. To cut the 1500 to 1700 drone I installed a trunk divider and now even with the PRT's the cabin noise in my Z seems mush lower than my coupe.
It's funny how your taste's can change, but I will say this a 5 minute ride would not have convinced me to buy them. The initial difference in tone (much lower than the Indy's) and the drrone turned me off at first.
Now that I've lived with them I doubt I'll be looking at any other exhaust system. They are keepers.
