Default New owner finally pulled the trigger!

I've lusted after Corvettes since I first saw the new C4 in the Chevy showroom as a 14-year old. Years went by with a T-bird, Firebird, CamaroZ28 and a few other vehicles filling the void, but I knew someday I was going to have the All-American sports car in my garage...after a twenty year wait, I am now the proud owner of a 2004 Millenium yellow Z06!

I got an outstanding deal on the Z with GMS pricing and a $5K rebate bringing the pricing down into the high $30s!

I've been following the forum for years and wanted to thank all the members for their invaluable advice, feedback and experiences. I have a ton of questions for the forum but I'll search the archives first before I ask them. I look forward to becoming a contributing member and hope I don't get bit too hard by the mod bug!

I'm just turned 100 miles, so more pictures and my initial reviews will follow shortly!

Welcome from a fellow rookie! I just purchased a Black 04 Z06 in NC and drove it home last week to CA. I have also wanted a Vette all my life and what a Vette to have for the first one, huh? The Z is an outstanding car and yours looks beautiful.

I am a little ahead of you on miles because of the cross country trip...I am up to 3500 miles now. But I am glad that I did this instead of having it shipped because I know the car so much better now than I would have if I had it trucked in.

There is a lot of great info to be gained from hanging out here and several very nice individuals to learn it from. Even we newb's get treated well here...that is if we don't ask really stupid questions!

Welcome again and enjoy your ride!

Vader_1: I tried to IM you back, but you have it turned off. I've got to get out of here right now (time to jump in the Z06 and go home), but will try to email you later tonight or tomorrow.
