Default Got my clutch fixed...sweeeet!

So about a month & a half ago I got a Spec 3 clutch. Broke it in, drove like a good boy. So 2 weeks ago it feels like it's out of sync...tough to get into 3rd, especially if you are high in the rpms. Then even 5th gets tough. The pedal started to get mushy & I start missing gears, just didn't want to shift. The normal Hurst bump, bump while shifting turned into a clunk, then a Swarzenegger heave to get it in gear. As I was driving it home thru traffic on Monday, I couldn't even hit 2nd...started going 1-4, double clutching. At a light if I put it into 1st to soon it would start to vibrate, ready to go...only about 1/4" of clutch in the pedal. Once I got home I couldn't even get it into reverse. This morning I drove back to my tuner, (Davenport Motorsports in Calagary), and Steve & his guys got it done for me the same day. The slave was faulty and they threw in a new one that they had in stock. What a difference! This clutch never felt like this from day 1! It is unbelievable how good it feels now that it is right. Thanks Steve for getting it done in 1 day, that's what keeps customers coming back.

Sounds like a good shop to work with. Glad you got it fixed and can drive the car.

Ya, it's a great shop...really carefull with your stuff. It's such a bummer when your car isn't running right...that's when mods aren't fun anymore.

It's Chuck...not chuch.
I bet they don't have clutch problems...not as much "horse"power.
