It's hard to see in this picture, but I made my own storage compartment that sits between the ledge behind the seats and tha partition. It has 2 covered storage compartments, 6 cup holders and an open storage tray.
i think vette essentials sells fanny pack type storage units that attach at the bottom of the front seats out of the way of your feet and allow for lots of odds and ends storage which might meet your need without doing any construciton. try their web site and you should see them.

saw some little storage pockets a woman had on the front of her seats. I asked about them, and she got them at Target! They seemed real nicely suited for adding just a bit more storage.

Love my vette, but hate the lack of interior storage.
There's not much storage area...especially in an FRC.
I did something similar to CorvetteSSX by building in storage behind the seats. Mine is a three compartment hinged-lid box. Each compartment has it's own lid and they're sized to hold CDs, DVDs, a weapon and other miscelleneous stuff. Does the trick for me.

I saw those too but SHEESH, you gotta take your seats out and send to them for them to install the velcro that holds the bag. Whatta pain just for a little storage space.

Now that sounds good. Don't guess you've got any pictures of them do you?
I'm not paying $170 for a plastic tray (particularly a yellow one), but it's a great idea. Now I need to find me a plastic tray at target or something.
I had been toying with the idea of getting one...but I don't know weather to get grey (carpet color) or black (cargo liner thingy color). - kind of an awkward spot for a drink holder though.

sorry, no pictures. I put one on the passenger side. Not "show" quality, but very functional, and not $139.00 and you don't have to remove the seat.

Haven't seen any door panels with storage pockets, but there have been some posts on storage boxes behind the seats. Some of them are very nice. Perhaps those that have done this will post for you.

You can buy strips of "super velcro" (think that's what it's called) at Radio Shack that will adhere to the stock seats and allow you to use the VE bags w/o removing anything. Just be sure to clean the mounting surface first with something that leaves no residue (like isopropyl alcohol).
Those trays from Ecklers are originally from Kewl.com and I think they are much cheaper. They come in different colors with a vinyl cover that you don't have to use. I have one for each of my C5's and they are great.
