Automatic shifter & base plate
Guys,
I'm building a car for a Children's Cancer Foundation that we are going to tour along the west coast & Pacific Northwest. Anyway, I'm looking to adapt a C5 shifter into the car. I'm wondering if the sheet metal base that the shifter is attached to in an automatic car is easily removed and obtained. This piece would make it much easier to adapt. If any of you have a line on one and the shifter assembly in black, please let me know. Here's a diagram that points out the section & piece I'm needing. Thanks!
