Go to START/SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL/FONTS. Then click on File/Install new font and click on it at the folder you've unzipped it to. It'll be available in your applications after that with the name CORVETTE.ttf.
FYI...
it is probably obvious from my screen name that i make signs...
i make the corvette logo in self adhesive sign vinyl in any size and any color...
if any of you want them for similar projects just email me...
i am working on making them the correct size to fit the front tag plate and the rear of our cars...
I have the font, and I think this is the file. You need to right-click on the link...Save Target As...into the fonts folder on your comp (C:\Windows\Fonts for example)
I'm not sure if this will work, but give it a try...I have 2 ttf files with the corvette name, but this is the one that appears in my fonts folder. I'm not sure if both files are needed for it to work. If it doesn't work and you know what I need to do to transfer it to you, let me know.
There was a great post (I saw yesterday) that documentated the steps to install this. Wish I knew who it was so as to give credit!
BUT
1) Click on the link above and save to your hard drive (remembering where you put it)
2) Open folder where you've saved this file (it's zipped, so you'll need a program to unzip it - I use WINZIP, but...)
3) Click on the zipped file and extract it (again, remember where you put the thing)
4) Click START -> Settings -> Control Panel
5) Find and open the FONTS folder
6) Click on File (top tool bar) -> Install new Font
7) Point to the place you save the file (in step 3). It should show up as a .TTF type...
