[Z06] Who is going to the Z06 fest @ Bowling Green next weekend?
#4
Oh yea, definitely. private factory tours, drag racing, autocross, backroads caravan tour to the Maker's Mark distillary, discussion sessions with corporate Corvette personnel-what's not to like?
based on the z06vette.com forum chatter, I'm thinking there will be at least 75-100 Z06's in attendance. Folks are driving from as far away as Scottsdale and Southern Cal.
this will be my first, but it's supposed to be a blast.

Why don't we try to set up a Corvette Forum lunch or dinner, say Smokey Bone's BBQ.
What would be a good time?
7:00 pm, 24 July, Saturday night, I'll reserve a table for how many?
If we get a lot coming I'll ask Tracey is she can pin this thread to the top.

We'll be there as well.
This will be our second year. Had a real blast last year with auto-x, drags, and late night gocart races.
Don't remember in which order it is but, one night is a BBQ picnic at Wendell Strode's (NCM director) Bed & Breakfast and one night is the banquet dinner inside the NCM. I believe it is BBQ on Friday night and banquet on Saturday night.
Wednesday night, for those that get there early enough, everyone is meeting at Rafferty's, just down the street from the Hampton.
Looks like Thursday night is the only night open with no Fest activities.
Hope to see ya there!

Still on the fence as to going or not. I went to the cruise in and had another good time so maybe I can convince the better half we need to head that way again?? Besides it is only two hours away and a straight shot at that.
