Computer Chip?
Whats the info on changing your computer chip? How much hp gain would this provide and what is the cost. Have a new 04 so this is all somewhat new to me. Thanks!

Changing the computer chip is not an option on the C5. However, the programming can be asjusted using LS1 edit. LS1 edit is available but rather expensive. Most tuners will use this to adjust various settings.

As David pointed out the PCM in the C5 is manipulated via programs like LS1-Edit or HPTuners. A full dyno tune is generally around $500. For a mostly stock car you would be lucky to pick up 10 rwhp with a full tune. Not worth it IMHO. Add long tube headers or a cam or change injectors and then the $500 dyno tune is worthwhile (or mandatory).
