It will hurt the battery. I would suggest you put
a VDC electronics Battery Minder or a Deltran
Battery Tender Plus on it. They will keep the battery
charged with no fear of damage.

Just disconnect it if you are planning on swapping batteries. Its not hard and will only take 20 seconds. Kaley

Either keep it charged or disconnect (and possibly remove) it. I'd use the Deltran and keep it charged, myself.

NEVER let a battery totally discharge, especially if it is the car. You run the risk of damage to the car and the battery may no longer be capable of a full charge. Use the Battery Tender, or take it out and store it with the Tender attached for best results.

I agree, either keep it charged or disconnect it. Better on the battery that is for sure.

Well... I guess it's not summer everywhere but....

I agree with the others opinions. If you don't plan on keeping the battery, take it out. If you do, at a minimum put a Battery Tender Plus on it. I've been using them for years for winter storage of Vettes and motorcycles and haven't had a problem. The best way is to pull the battery out and store it in a warm place on the Tender, but I don't even bother with that.
