I have been in Austin since 1983 and like most ofthe replies, I have never had a front plate on my cars. If you get pulled
over, don't be cocky. YES SIR, NO SIR!!!! And they just might let you
off with a warning.

The last two cars that I have had I have nothad a front plate on them and I have been in Austin since 1983. I
have never been pulled over. How ever I do suggest that if you
do get pulled over DON'T BE COCKY!! "YES SIR, NO SIR" and they
just might let you off with a warning.

Nope, no front plate for me. I never put it on and actually forgot I didn't have it until reading these CF posts. Now I'm paranoid
I did get pulled over once for expired inspection sticker but LEO said nothing about the front plate....
