Default Carbon Fiber question

Who makes the smooth washer and radiator reservoir covers in real carbon fiber? I know I have seen them but can't find them.

SSX, How well does the carbon fiber match the different manufacturers that you used to put together one of the best engine bays I have ever seen?

My fear is that I put on pieces from different manufacturers and you can see a mile away that they don't match worth a cr@p.

Thanks for the help!

I got mine from TByrne, but he gets them from RKSport, but Tbyrne's price was cheaper than RK's, and they make them...........figure that.

I have carbon fiber from 5 different vendors; tigershark.com, RK Sport, West Coast Corvettes, Corvettes of Houston, and Halltech. All the pieces match exceptionally well.

Very common actually.

The manufacturer sets the retail price, as well as a minimum price their dealers can sell a given product for. RK will likely only sell at the retail price, but dealers usually have a little bit of bargaining room, assuming they don't sell below RK's specified minimum (which is still above dealer cost). This keeps competition alive amongst the many dealers. The dealer's job is to promote and get the product out to a broader market. Regulated dealer pricing takes this into account and compensates them for that.

Most manufacturers want dealers to have a lower price, because if they undercut dealer's prices themselves, why would they even need dealers? No one would buy from the dealers, customers would just go to the manufacturer, which probably doesn't want to deal with all those end-user sales and service issues, hence the reason for setting up a dealer network to begin with.

recently got mine on Ebay from Carbonwerks12 and the quality is first rate. The intake was a big pain to install (one piece, needing to remove the fuel lines and injectors, URGH) but the inner fenders only took a couple minutes.
