I'm thinking of purchasing a new 04 coupe. The best deal i found has the 3.15 performance axle. the other deal ( not as much off MSRP) has the standard 2.73 ratio. What do you guys have and in your opinion, what ratio do i want?
The dealer told me, that down the road if I went to sell the car, that having a 3:15 would assist in selling the car. A few people wouldn't be willing to have the standard rear end, and buy having the 3:15 you will have a car, they will consider. While on the other hand, very few people would NOT buy a used car, simply because it had something that is/was an upgrade over the standard.

I'd personally buy the 2.73's since there is no extra charge then toss a set of 3.42's in there.
OR, between the 2 cars you're looking at buy the less exppensive of the 2 and then toss the 3.42's in that one.
