New C5 Owner

After several months of gathering the huge wealth of information available on the forum, I purchased a new Mag Red, Grey Interior, 6 speed, 1SB coupe, this past Friday, July 16th. This was a color combination I had been looking for and finally found one at Arroway Chevrolet in Katonah, NY. This dealership by the way, was excellent to deal with, totally going the extra mile, and I would completely recommend them. Speak to Tim Murphy at the dealership if interested, a great guy, extremely helpful. Anyway, I would not have been nearly as well educated regarding pricing, rebates, options, etc if not for the Forum. This is my first Corvette, the satisfaction of a decades long dream. I live in Manhattan and the Vette will be used on weekends throughout the year. Thanks to all that provided invaluable information through the threads and discussions that I have been so voraciously reading these last several months.

You will love the mag red - it's what I bought a month before you. I have the oak interior. It is totally awesome looking out over the hood of this car; kinda like a cherry red! Chicks dig it!
