Default 89.99 mod down the toliet!

Okay I hate to but I have to on this one. Everyone learns from mistakes even if they are stupid(mistakes that is).. so I thought I'd speak up and share. I ordered a set of the Neoprene seat covers (I have an 01 torch red) and installed them last night...love em, adds a ton to the interior well worth the $$... I also ordered the leather counsel cushion..modified not accented(through Mid America)...well guess what...yes...the red in the coundsel cushion is much lighter than the red on the seat covers!! I came out to the car this morning and in the sun it looks in the garage last night under the light they almost looked the same..I guess I am color blind!!!. In the catalog I did not notice the difference. I took my time to install it (it comes with double sided tape that adheres to the counsel piece) and everything.
Why I spent 89.99 on a stupid piece of leather to begin with I don't know..but needless to say I will be removing it after work today!!!

To bad. Some things just don't work out. Post it in the for sale section. Someone will buy it and take the pinch out of the purchase.

Hate to say it, but you should've gone to VE. After you see Ken's work, you'll wonder how Mid-America and Ecklers sell ANYTHING.

I wanted to get the neoprene covers for my Mil Yellow but the people at Wet Okole said that their yellows won't match. They sent me samples and they were right. Now I'm gun shy about ordering them from anyone. Any ideas?

I have the mid America interior... seats, "consol", shifter boot, ebrake boot, grab handles, active handling accent, wheel decal, air bag decal, sill decals.. IT is awesome... the cost was a little over 1000 dollars..
ken's stuff would have cost me 3000.... Mid America is also a forum Vendor.. Ken's stuff is the best on the Planet, but Mid america's stuff is better than OEM...and 1/3 the price of Ken's... we all have priorities and options can be a good thing..

I see Kens car almost every Wednesday at T-Birds and all I can say is wow -- the Vette Essentials interiors are gorgeous.

Easy mistake to make. At least it is not an incredibly expensive piece. Perhaps if it comes off easy you can sell it to someone else.

send it back. i installed the one i bought from midamerica and was not at all happy with it either. i called them and voiced my opinion and they took care of it and had me ship it back and even though the dbl stick tape was still there etc they refunded my purchase price. good luck.
