Default Flush Mount Taillight Kit Yes or No....

I'm undecided on the kit since I have only seen it in pics and not in person. Does it change the rear end dramatically or is it subtle? I kind of like the current look so for me it would have to be an improvement not just the fact that I will not have to clean inside the indents anymore.

I hate the flush mount look, but that's just my opinion.

Either you like it or you don't . . . what difference does it make what others feel on a subjective (aesthetic) issue ? It is so subtle that I hardly notice the change. If you ever take out the lenses for the rear lights you will see that GM goofed by not putting in a rubber gasket. If you do not do the flush lights then you certainly should consider adding a rubber gasket around the lenses.

Here is a suggestion for since this mod can easily be reversed. Buy the flush mount kit put them on the car and see if you like them, if you like the look keep them on, if not sell the kit to someone else.

It's kinda like asking "what color should I get? " Up to you, 50% of the people on the Forum will like it/dislike it. The rest of the world won't ever notice.

I like the flush-mount just because it's such a pain to keep the area around the tail-lights clean.

I think it's the best looking exterior appearance mod available. No hassle at all to install and makes the rear end look sooo much better.

I put on the flush tail light kit and think it give the car a nice look, i also put on the brushed stainless gas door and like it to. I am also going to put on the greenwood C5R rear wing.

I like it because it makes the rear of the car look 'clean'. It's subtle but when I saw two cars parked next to each other, one with and one without, I preferred the flush look.

Each to their own.

I like the look.

I'd probably do it myself but I've already got the grills on.

I don't like them because they aren't flush at the bottom of the light. Kinda stupid IMO. Now, if they were, i'd might consider it.

That's exactly what's holding me back. Not completely flush.

Default flush lites

kinda stuck on this one,, The street rod guys go nuts frenching and recessing the lites, and here we go and make them flush,, BUT, they do not fit real good and are not really flush,,,,why dont someone make a good gasket for the stock ones,,,I went as far to spray corrosion inhibitor behind the lights to keep the exposed metal from getting crusty,,,,,,I like the flush look, but I also like the recessed look,,,,,if someone would give me a kit to try,, I will take one,,

The look just isn't for me. I like the stock arrangement after seeing a Flush Mount kit installed on a Club members car. So...

I have the West Coast Corvette Flush Mount Kit that I was going to send back. Kit is new and unused, but the plastic bag has been opened. $40 via Paypal, delivered price if someone wants them. Delivery time from Maryland via UPS. PM for email address if interested.

I'd fit 'em in tubes and make those suckers stick out 10". I bet you'd be the only one on the block with that setup.

Do what you like. If you get them and don't like them, someone else will take them off your hands.
