Default Head on collission with tractor trailer

Hi everyone, I am a new member looking for a little help on how to change my username, post some pics from my pics file, and would like to know if there are Canadian forums within this same area.I am very
tech chalanged with computers but have alot of time to learn due to a accident I had with my 1995 vette convertible,It was a rainy night on June 14th I was driving on the highway just outside of Toronto when I
notced this tractor trailer behind me in the left hand lane
pushing up my rear end so I singled to move into the center lane and
cought about 6 inches of water then hydroplayned spun around and got hit head on by another fully loaded tractor trailer that was doing
about 110 km per hour. There was nothing left of my car but the rear end and me,so today I am just happy to be alive. My new 2004 yellow
convertible just arrived at the dealer today and will be ready for pick up on the weekend. I will post after pictures of my 1995 vette when
I get help on how to do it.SEIZE THE DAY TRUST LEAST TO THE FUTURE
Thx
Regards
Deborah

Default Oh MY.

Welcome to the Forum.

Glad to hear that you survived such a horrible wreck. You will be able to find answers to most of your questions using the search functions with the site.

Post the pictures of your vette before and after. Vette owners like to see the damage our cars can absorb and still protect us.

Better luck with the new one.

To change your username, just post the reqeust in the "Help" section. One of the kind moderators will be happy to help you.

I'm not aware of any Canadian forum, but we do have a number of Canadian members here on Corvetteforum.

Welcome.

Pics need to be hosted on a site, example www.photohost.org. After that, you right click the pic, and click "properties" and highlight the url address (http...) and click copy. Then you paste that in the image box above. I think the moderators can change your name.

To post pics... well probably the best thing to do is to send you over to the Help forum. In the Forum menu bar click on "Forums", move your mouse down to the bottom over "Help and Feedback" and then click on "Help". You should be able to find many posts on how to do pics.

Write or IM one of the moderators to get your Forum Name changed. They can either do it or send you to the right person that can. Or, while you are checking out the Help section, put in a post and see if a Mod will take care of it for you.

Bummer about your '95 vette, congrats on the new one, and most importantly glad you are O.K.

And welcome to the forum

Edit: if onwy I kould spel

Greetings, Deborah! Welcome to the best Forum on the 'Net! As the others have pointed out, there is help to be had on the HELP forum. And there is a TESTING area where you can practice posting photos.

Regarding your question for a Canadian forum - if you click on the button on the red bar at the top of the page, marked Forums a drop down box will appear, in the drop down is another marked Events & Regional, run your cursor over that and a final drop down appears and you'll see one heading labled Canadian Events.

Hope this helps! You'll find the ladies and gentlemen very helpful and friendly here.

Miles and miles of smiles on that new MY convertible!
