I feel sick...
then i looked over, and saw the '84 sitting there. headlights stuck up, cracks in various places on the body, bald tires, half the interior ripped up, no exhaust extending past the middle of the car, sticky leather steering wheel....then i felt a little more sick.
anyway, to try and look on the bright side, almost all my bills left with the car. no $312 car payment, no $534 insurance payment...and the 84 has potential, just needs some work.
sorry for the post guys, but this really hurts...

I know, I was just using some sense of humor. It's green. The color green is often associated with sickness.
Guess you have to be an
around here not to get flammed.

Anyways, hopefully you'll see one in the future...don't rush in next time.

When I was in college and the C5 first came out, I was dying to get one but with no income except a college work study job at school to help pay for tuition, I had no choice but to wait and boy did I wait and dream. I had notebooks that were full of sketches of C5s. Almost every page had a sketch of a C5. I had every magazine that even mentioned the C5, I still have magazines at home with design concepts of what motor trend thought the C5 would look like. When I would see a C5 parked on the street, I would just stare at it for 5 minutes and picture myself owning one someday. It took me 7 years to finally get my dream vette and I bought it in cash brand new. Not only could I afford it by then, I could enjoy it and not have to worry about insurance payments, gas money or having my corvette bury me in debt and cause me grief rather than enjoyment. My advise is to keep your dream alive, work really hard in school with the goal of owning a new vette someday. Whenever you've got a paper due or a test coming up and feel fustrated, just think that someday, all this suffering will pay off when you pick up the keys to a brand new vette and drive off into the sunset. Believe me, that's a great motivation.

Not nice to criticize other people's taste. Why can't a Vette have a unique color? I happen to like that green and, in fact, had a '69 Camaro with almost the same color.

It's like messing around with your corvette buddy. Do you have one of those in real life? If you do then you know what I mean. Even though they are both vettes and of same quality you will find a fault in your buddies car just to give him some crap.

Your car was one of the most unique ones around. I'm not going heap insult on top of injury by saying "I told you so...". And to the
out there who have to insult someone to make themselves feel bigger and better....apparently your mommas never taught you that if you don't have anything nice to say - say nothing. You'll get over it eventually. You'll also get another now that you've had a taste! Good luck!
I'm familiar with your neck of the woods , i used to live in Manalapn NJ , there are plenty of late model vettes out there.
I had to wait 20 years before I got my 1st vette so your ahead of the game.
Save money and keep your driving record good.
