I'm thinking about replacing my brake pads before running in two track days this fall at Texas Motor Speedway.

Any opinions or experiences with the Z06 pads vs stock C5 pads would be appreciated.

 

It depends on what you want for the track and street. Most higher performance brake pads for the track produce more noise. It is a tradeoff. That said, I would go aftermarket pads. Talk to the folks at the Tire Rack. They will steer you in the right direction.

 

Same stock brake pads on the Z06 as the rest of the C5's.
